Criteria

  1. Must have their primary place of business in the seven county Brazos Valley area: Brazos, Washington, Grimes, Robertson, Madison, Leon and Burleson.
  2. Must be locally owned, at least 51% by individuals residing within a 75 mile radius of the Brazos County Court House Building.
  3. Must be free to make their own business decisions without the need for approval by owners of affiliates outside the area (this does not bar participation in decisions by minority owners outside the area).
  4. Must have no more than six (6) outlets; bases of operation lie within Texas.
  5. Must not be a publicly traded corporation.
  6. Must be in agreement with the mission and values of the Brazos Independent Business Alliance.
